What is Hymovis Treatment?
A new therapy approved by the FDA, is a thick, gel-like solution that acts like a lubricant and shock absorber in the knee joint. For many patients HYMOVIS® injections may provide up to six months of relief from osteoarthritis knee pain.
How many injections will I receive?
HYMOVIS® will be administered in a convenient two-injection regimen, with injections one week apart

Pain relief varies from patient to patient and may depend on the severity of your disease and the intensity of your pain. Speak with your doctor about your concerns and expectations about HYMOVIS®.
What do I need to do after receiving a HYMOVIS® injection?
It is recommended you avoid strenuous activities, such as high-impact sports (tennis or jogging) or prolonged weight-bearing activities (standing), for approximately 48 hours following the injection. You should speak with your doctor regarding the appropriate time to resume such activities.
